Roberta Reis
Roberta ("Bobbie") Reis is originally from Fargo, North Dakota, and relocated to Denver, Colorado, in 2002 to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During her time at Sturm, Bobbie clerked for Judge Moss of the Adams County District Court, was a member of the Student Law Office Litigiation Clinic, and was an intern for the City Attorney's Office Child Welfare Unit and the Kempe Children's Center. After graduating, Bobbie served as a law clerk for Arapahoe County District Court Judge Rice and Judge Russell. She then began practicing in the Family Law sector where she represented clients in all types of domestic relations matters, regularly taught free legal clinics for domestic violence victims through Project Safeguard and Women in Crisis, and obtained her Level 2 traning in Collaborative Law. She represented clients in trials, mediation sessions, and settlement conferences.
In 2011, Bobbie transitioned in to the Oil and Gas sector and began drafting Drilling and Division Order Title Opinions and assisting clients with title curative measures. In addition, due to her vast experience in the courtroom, Bobbie began representing oil and gas companies in front of the Weld County District Court in Determinations of Heirships probate proceedings to help clients cure title deficiencies. She currently serves as a member of the subcommittee tasked with revising Colorado’s Determination of Heirship statutes. Bobbie is dedicated to staying up to date on all industry related events, case findings and state regulations, and is devoted to providing high quality legal servies to her clients in a cost-effective and timely manner.
In her spare time, Bobbie enjoys playing soccer, horse-back riding, and spending time with her family.
