Alexandra Michalak

Alexandra (“Alexis”) Michalak is originally from the small town of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, and she moved to Denver to finish her law degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Her knowledge and respect for the oil and gas industry began when she clerked for a small boutique oil and gas law firm in Denver during her final year of law school. After graduating Cum Laude, she accepted an associate position with the firm and began assisting clients in oil and gas litigation matters, as well as reviewing and drafting numerous industry-related agreements. She also began preparing Drilling and Division Order Title Opinions in various plays and jurisdictions throughout the U.S. Rocky Mountains.

Since then, her love and knowledge of mineral title has grown, and she now specializes in drafting complex title opinions as well as providing title curative assistance to her clients. Alexis is committed to providing high-quality legal services in a clear, concise, and time-efficient manner. Her ability to understand all aspects of the oil and gas industry makes her an invaluable asset to the firm.

Alexis is also an adjunct professor for Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado, where she teaches for the Energy Management Program. She currently resides in Crested Butte, Colorado, with her husband, son, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys trail running, mountain biking, and spending time with her family.
